AF This course teaches you about survey and mapping techniques with RPA. You'll complete the course theory and practical elements and receive a certificate of attainment in RPA Survey Operation and Mapping.
About the course

This Course.
This course is the first of 2 courses, and delivers the basics of using RPA in Survey and Mapping using Multi-Rotor RPA such as the DJI Matrice M350RTK with an H20T sensor. (Other sensors may be available by prior arrangement)

You can choose to build on this course and progress to our advanced course, that focuses on high accuracy image capture with D-RTK and post-processing photogrammetry with applications such as DJI Terra and OpenDroneMap (ODM)

By specialising in this exciting area, you are able to pitch for jobs targeting niche, specialised markets with technology of your choice and pricetags for your work relative to the equipment you use and outcomes you produce.

?During this course, you'll learn best practice use in mapping, understand overlays and data-capture heights, understand how to capture data for 2D and 3D post processing. You'll plan and execute mapping tasks and understand how to gather the required data and how it's used in post processing (Advanced Mapping Ops)

Wherever possible, we'll always try and contextualise this course to better match your particular use scenario. This may not always be possible, but we'll do our best!

Choose to complete this course and get a feel for survey and mapping or choose both courses for a comprehensive delivery from no little to no experience through to post processing.
