Our Advanced Night Ops course continues on from our NVLOS CASA certification. Most night operations require specialised equipment for a specific task. Understanding that role equipment, how to use it, where and when is critical. Taught by one of our Senior pilots with a wealth of operational experience in all manner of survey and wildlife survey and monitoring, this course delivers a deep understanding of imaging, how it works at night, how to set up and adjust your RPA, its sensors and sensitivities to see what it is you're trying to see.

From tiny animals with low heat signatures to larger more complex environments with multiple heat sources, thermal imaging can be a bit of an art to get right. We will show you how to achieve this goal and have some fun doing it. Using advanced RPA such as the M300 and M210RTK editions, you'll learn everything you need to know both on a theory and practical level to make you stand far out from the crowd and pitch for larger, far more advanced jobs that come significantly better reward - and carve you're name out as an advanced pilot trained by the Ripper Aviation Academy - the very best in advanced flight training by far.
