This Course.
The CASA Aeronautical Radio Operators' Certificate course certifies you to operate on the VHF Airband Frequencies with manned aircraft and gives you the base knowledge you need to know when and where - and how, to use your Radio. The course is approximately 2 hours in duration and consists of the theory delivery plus a theory test at the end. 

Exclusively to the Ripper Academy, and because we're run by Pilots, we know that in order to be 'permitted' to use a radio with this certification, it does not mean you have the experience in the real world of maned aviation radio calls as Pilots in manned aviation learn 'on the job'. 

For RPA, this is not usually the case leaving a large hole in the certification. The Ripper Academy have created an online 'practical' exercise, voiced by us, that delivers real world RPA related radio calls and exchanges you may hear and need to make when operating at our near controlled or non-controlled aerodromes.
